What we’re doing

Leeds Dads, like many other organisations, have had to completely stop our physical activities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is really tough for us and whilst we’ve lost all of our income, we’ll never lose our desire to support our members and the wider community in any way we possibly can. We’ve been extremely active in providing support and content in three distinct ways:

1. Food Parcels

Through local partnerships, we are distributing food parcels to individuals across Leeds who may be shielding or struggling during this time. If you require a food parcel, please keep an eye on our Facebook page for weekly announcements.

2. #AskADad

Our #AskADad sessions are happening weekly; every Tuesday at 8pm on our Facebook page. Join us for support and discussion on a variety of different subjects including employment law, pregnancy support and child psychology.

3. Virtual Play House

In the absence of our physical meet-ups, we’ve launched the Leeds Dads Virtual Playhouse! Look out for our videos on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm full of live curated content.

If you, or anyone you know requires assistance during this challenging time, please see Leeds City Council’s website: https://www.leeds.gov.uk/coronavirus
